OUR storm restoration process
Our complimentary inspections and photo condition reports allow us to provide our property owners the awareness to understand the restoration needs for their properties. The focus is to educate our customer on how we can effectively assist them through the insurance process using the latest and most common estimating software shared by most major insurance companies to achieve the optimal, desired results. Our highly trained and experienced key management team ensures that the proper expectations are set and met. We will assist you from start to finish. Meaning, we can help you file a claim, meet your adjuster to verify any and all claim-related damages are properly covered, as well as complete your repairs. Filing, managing and completing an insurance claim can be a complicated and sometimes drawn out process. We help to make it as quick and simple as possible. The PROCESS
Inspection & Condition Report
Your ProTex Project Manager will provide a full inspection of your entire property. After the inspection, we will provide detailed report of any storm related damages found during the inspection.
Consultation and Claim Filing
Your ProTex Representative will review the damages to your property listed in the condition report and the process of how we can help you restore your home. Once it has been determined that your home qualifies for storm restoration, we will assist you with contacting your insurance provider to inform them of the damages found to your property and to have them file a claim for you.
Working with Your Insurance
Property Scope:
Your ProTex Project Manager will be scheduled to come by the property and inventory all storm-related damage in order to prepare our estimate of repairs for your insurance claim.
The Estimate:
This is an itemized breakdown for the repairs we believe are necessary to properly restore your property. This will assist in breaking down the restoration project to the adjuster line by line in an itemized format.
Insurance Adjuster:
This is an appointment where we will meet your insurance adjuster at your property to go over any and all damages found by your ProTex Project Manager at the time of inspection.
Supplementation:
During this step we will submit a supplement to your insurance provider for any damages or work we believe should have been included in the insurance adjuster’s estimate that was not. If nothing was missed by the adjuster no supplementing will take place.
Fixing the Damage
Once your claim has been fully approved, we will visit with you to complete a review of the work order which outlines what work will be done. We will also discuss what material will be used and what date the repairs will take place. Once scheduled, we will bring our installers out to complete all repairs and this process usually only takes one day depending on the scope of work.
